If the right answer for your machine is a cheaper option, an item you may already own, or a simple do-it-yourself fix instead of buying anything at all, we will say so plainly. The honest fix always comes first.

Our facts stay independent

We decide what to cover and what to recommend based on what actually fixes a sewing machine, and we check that against authoritative sources before we publish. The business side of the site is kept separate from the editorial side on purpose.
