Contact Stitchmend

We are a small team, and we read every message that comes in. We aim to reply within a few business days, though sometimes it takes a little longer when things get busy. Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

What to send

A few kinds of messages are especially helpful to us:

  • Corrections. If we got something wrong, please tell us. Include the article URL and the specific claim you think is off, so we can check it against our sources and fix it quickly.
  • Topic suggestions. If you searched for a fix and could not find a clear answer on our site, let us know what you were looking for. Gaps like that often turn into our next guide.
  • General feedback. Notes on what was clear, what was confusing, or what would have helped you finish your project are all welcome.

What we cannot help with

We are a content site, not a repair service, so there are real limits to what we can do by email.

  • We cannot diagnose your specific machine remotely. We can point you to the right guide, but we cannot watch your machine run or tell you exactly what is wrong with it from a message.
  • We cannot tell you it is safe to open a machine that is still under warranty. Opening it yourself may void that warranty, and only the manufacturer can speak to your coverage.
  • For anything involving the motor, the mains wiring, or a machine that is still in warranty, please use the manufacturer or an authorized service technician. Those repairs are not safe to guess at.

One safety note that matters more than any fix: if you ever smell burning or see sparks, unplug the machine and stop. Do not keep using it, and do not try to open it. Have it checked by a qualified technician before you sew with it again.

Email us

You can reach us at contact@stitchmend.com. A contact form appears below if you would rather send your message that way.

One last note: we do not accept guest posts, paid link placements, or sponsored content, so please do not write to us about those. Everything we publish is chosen and written by our own team.
